Where does the food come from?
Food arrives from local and national organizations, manufacturers and distributors, federal and state government food programs, food drives and Feeding America (our national umbrella organization).

The Cleveland Foodbank
The Foodbank solicits, inspects, sorts and repacks food for distribution to our member agencies throughout Northeastern Ohio. We distributed over 35.4 million pounds of food last fiscal year.

Member Agencies
Almost 700 hot meals, shelters, food pantries and other non-profit organizations serve and distribute food to people in need. Our agencies provided food to over 40,000 men, women and children in a given week.

Many people benefit from the efforts of our member agencies, programs and services: the elderly, children, the working poor, single-parent families, the homeless and the newly unemployed.
