Agency Academy                    

Agency Academy is designed to bring educational and health-related programming to our member agencies. The goal is to increase their ability to offer improved services to their clients. By collaborating with community partners, Agency Academy offers best practices, innovative ideas, and expertise to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our member agency programs.

This curriculum has been developed to cover training on health and nutrition, efficient program management, fundraising, safe food handling, and identifying and utilizing community resources.

The Cleveland Foodbank is excited to offer this program. We hope member agencies will find the workshops and seminars useful as they continue to provide a valuable service to our community through their programs.

Space is limited in each workshop to two participants per agency. Registration is required for all workshops.

All workshops are held at The Cleveland Foodbank unless specified otherwise.

Orientation: noon-1 pm, Food Safety 101: 1-3 pm, Online Ordering: 3-4 p.m.

Wednesday, May 8th, 2013 from 1-3 p.m.
Diabetes Awareness 
Join representatives from the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland to be armed with information to share with clients about diet and how it relates to and affects Type I and Type II diabetics.

CFK's Healthier Hot Meals
The Cleveland Foodbank Kitchen has been hard at work developing new, healthier options for their menu. Join the CFK staff to learn what they’ve been up to and get new recipe ideas for your Hot Meal program.

Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 from 1-3 p.m.
The Power of Produce (cooking demo)
Join healthy food expert Alissa Glenn as she discusses and demonstrates how to integrate fresh, wholesome produce into your cooking. This informative session will provide you with delicious recipe ideas to bring to your agency and its guests.
