Harvest for Hunger – one of the largest annual, community-wide food and funds drives in the nation – provides critical resources to local hunger relief organizations in 21 counties in Northeast and North Central Ohio.

We are grateful for the generous support of our community in 2012. Last year, businesses, supermarkets, schools and individuals across the region came together and contributed enough resources to provide over 15 million meals.

Unfortunately, the number of people turning to hunger centers for emergency food continues to rise. Harvest for Hunger is an important source of support for these hunger centers and the hundreds of thousands of people turning to them for help. This year’s goal is to provide enough food for 16 million meals.

The need is great, but with your support we will make a difference!

From Sunday, February 17 through Saturday, March 30 you can give to Harvest for Hunger right at the grocery store register! Check Out Hunger is held throughout the region and includes over 6 participating retailers.

Check Out Hunger coupons will be hanging in check-out aisles at more than 200 Northeast Ohio supermarkets. Simply tear off a $1, $5 or $10 coupon and hand it to your cashier, who will add the donation to your grocery bill. Over $1.3 million was raised last year through Check Out Hunger!
