Holiday Fundraising Drive Begins With Gift from Charter One- Facing rising food costs and a particularly challenging economy, Charter One has stepped forward to help the Foodbank cover the cost of turkeys this holiday season. Their donation purchased 7,124 turkeys- enough to provide 104,222 meals! The turkeys were made available for distribution to the Foodbank’s 451 member agencies. On November 19, donations of non-perishable packaged food and monetary support was collected by volunteers from the Cleveland Indians organization, Progressive Insurance and Cleveland Foodbank at Progressive Field. Thank you to the Progressive Insurance and Cleveland Indians staff members and the community for their generous donation. Over 8,000 pounds of food and $5,500 was collected! |

Thank you to the fans who helped tackle hunger in Northeast Ohio by donating during the Browns vs. Ravens game on Sunday, November 2. The Cleveland Browns hosted a food and funds drive to benefit the Cleveland Foodbank, which raised over $7,000 and more than 1,800 pounds of food. To view photos of this event, click here. |
